Practical help
Make and manage your reports
Import job photos, add context, and create a PDF to review and share.
App Store name: Job Photos to PDF Reports. On your device: Job Photo Reports.
Create your first report
- Create a job. Enter a title and save. Client and site details are optional; set the service date for the work you are documenting.
- Add photos. Use Add photos for Photos, or the folder button for image files. A job holds up to 100 photos, including excluded photos. Each image must be no more than 50 MiB (52,428,800 bytes; labeled “50 MB” in the app).
- Group and add notes. Tap photo images to select them, then Group & note. Turn on Set group or Replace notes for each field you want to change.
- Check what is included. Use the Include menu to include or exclude selected photos. Excluded photos and their notes remain in the job; find them with the Excluded filter.
- Choose a layout. Compact fits up to two photos per page. Detailed uses one larger photo per page. A cover and long notes can add pages.
- Preview and share. Clear your photo selection and tap Preview report. Review the saved PDF, then use Share PDF to save a copy in Files or share it through another app.
If a photo or report will not load
- Check the 100-photo job limit and 50 MiB per-image limit. Excluded photos still count toward the job limit.
- Confirm the selected image opens in Photos or Files. The app needs an image format that iOS can decode; not every file type is supported.
- If the image is stored in a cloud provider, make sure that provider can retrieve it. The app’s local editing does not supply cloud access.
- Stopping an import or a partial import failure leaves already imported photos in the job. Review them before trying again to avoid duplicates.
- A report needs at least one included photo, and every included photo must be readable. If a stored image is unavailable, exclude that photo from the report. You can then import and include an accessible replacement.
- Check available device storage if saving fails, then retry. A canceled or failed report export does not consume a free job allowance.
Imported image copies can retain embedded metadata. A capture time appears only when the image includes both a date and time-zone offset. PDF photos are resized and compressed; the PDF is not an original-quality image backup.
Three free jobs and Pro
You can create reports for three different jobs free. A job uses one free slot when its first PDF is successfully generated and saved. Sharing the PDF is not a separate charge. Revisions of that same free job do not use another slot.
Pro allows report generation for more jobs while your subscription is active, with the same 100-photo limit per job. Reports generated while Pro is active do not use free slots. The App Store shows the available plan, billing period, and price before purchase.
After Pro ends, your jobs remain editable and existing saved PDFs remain available to open and share. You can generate new PDFs for jobs already counted in your free allowance. Other jobs—including jobs first exported during Pro—need a remaining free slot or active Pro. Deleting a job or PDF does not return a used free slot.
Purchasing, restoring, and canceling
Plans are unavailable
If the subscription page says Plans unavailable, no payment can be made there until the App Store supplies a plan and its price. Check your connection and try again. If the message persists, contact support through the channel below.
Restore an existing subscription
Open the subscription entry on the home screen and tap Restore. Use the Apple Account used for the purchase; Apple may ask you to authenticate. The app checks for an eligible active subscription and shows the result. Restore does not recover deleted jobs, photos, or PDFs. See Apple’s restore-purchase help if the purchase is missing.
Cancel renewal or manage a plan
On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, select the app, and choose the available cancellation or management action. The active-Pro screen also has Manage subscription. Check the expiry date Apple displays. Deleting the app or a job does not cancel your subscription. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
Cancel a purchase or wait for approval
Canceling Apple’s purchase confirmation does not delete your work or activate a new subscription. A purchase that is awaiting approval does not activate Pro until Apple confirms an eligible transaction. Keep any existing files; there is no need to delete or reinstall the app to retry a purchase.
Saved PDFs, deletion, and copies
Open a job and choose Open saved PDFs to view or share reports already on this device, even without Pro or unused free jobs. A saved PDF is a snapshot: changing the job does not change that PDF. Generate another report for updated content.
To delete one PDF, use its Delete button in saved reports and confirm Delete PDF. To delete the whole job, use the job’s actions menu and confirm. Cancel keeps the files. Confirmed deletion cannot be undone through the app.
Wait for imports and exports to finish before deleting. A job is removed from the active list before its files are cleaned up. If cleanup cannot finish, return home and use Retry cleanup. Some files may remain until cleanup succeeds.
Deleting a PDF keeps the job, photos, and other reports. Deleting a job removes its imported copies, notes, and saved reports through cleanup. Neither action deletes originals in Photos or Files, PDFs shared elsewhere, or backup copies. Used free-job identifiers remain in the local allowance record.
The app has no separate account or built-in job sync across devices. Keep important PDFs in another location you trust. Deleting the app removes local app data; offloading keeps its documents and data. A subscription restore is not a file backup or recovery service. See the privacy policy’s local-data controls.
